Our Aim is to provide a quick, friendly and efficient check-in service. To assist with this please view the information on check-in times, cage and drop off requirements below.
The cage must comply with the current IATA Live Animal Regulations https://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/live-animals/Pages/index.aspx. Due to the access and size of our aircraft hold please ensure the cage is no wider than 430mm. Your animal must be able to stand up comfortably and turn around with no restrictions. The total weight (cage + animal) must not exceed a maximum of 32kg.
Animal Drop Off Requirements
You must arrange for your animal to be dropped off and picked up at the airport. It is a requirement that the person checking in the animal remains in the airport terminal until the flight has departed.
Originair will make every effort to ensure the safe travel of your animal but please be aware there will be exposure to the airport environment that includes loud noises, changing temperature and weather conditions. It therefore helps if your animal has been crate trained prior to the flight, this will ensure your animals journey is less stressful.
Animal Check-in time
Your animal is required to be checked-in at least 40 minutes prior to departure. To achieve this, you should aim to be at the airport at least 50 minutes before the scheduled departure time. To assist with a quick check-in please print and complete the Animal Cargo form. If you are unable to print the form, please ensure you arrive with enough time to complete the form when checking your animal in for its flight.
