Westport Service Update - At this stage our last flights between Wellington and Westport will operate on 28 August 2026. Since May our Westport services have temporarily been supported by Development West Coast whilst an application to the Regional Investment Fund (Kanoa) for ongoing essential air route funding support is considered.
A decision on the essential route funding support is expected from a Cabinet meeting on 31 August. If funding support is forthcoming we will work with Government to determine arrangements for the restart of Westport flights.
